  Notice of Election to be held on May 26th at 7:00 P.M.
Assembly Officers (Sir Knights) for Columbian Year 2005-2006
This is to inform all Sir Knights in good standing of Archbishop Alemany Assembly 76, of the regular meeting (rescheduled due to State Convention) to be held on May 26, 2005 for the main purpose of electing Officers for 2005 - 2006 Columbian Year. This will be held at  St. Mark Church Parish Center,  325 Marine View Ave, Belmont at 7:00 P.M. during our monthly meeting. By motion, the Assembly has determined that voting will be in person. We encourage you to attend this meeting. Directions: Take Ralston Ave onto Hiller and right onto Marine View.

Please plan to attend the Installation of Officers Mass which is tentatively scheduled (Request to Master) for Sunday - July 17, 2005 at 3:00 PM - Tuxedo Attire and Regalia (for all who have regalia) - Location:  St. Gregory Church, 28th Avenue and Hacienda, San  Mateo, California. Installation of Officers and Exemplification will be in lieu of the regularly scheduled meeting of July. (No meeting on July 21, 2005)
Please make a special effort to participate and share this honor with the officers. Wives and guests are cordially invited. Please be on time so we can start promptly.  A no-host dinner will follow at Harry Hofbrau's Carvery . Directions: Harry Hofbrau's Carvery, 1297 Chess Drive, Foster City, CA 94404, Phone: (650) 349-8411 right off the 92 freeway, in the large shopping center with Target and Toys R Us.
Communion Sunday
In conjunction with our recent updating of the By-Laws, we have adopted Communion Sundays for all Fourth Degree members. The first will include a procession and will be at St. Mark in Belmont at 11:30am on the feast of Corpus Christi, May 29, 2005. The Color Corps will practice at 6:00pm on May 26th before the election meeting of 7:00 at St. Marks.  We will continue to participate with San Mateo Council at the annual All Souls Mass. Please plan to attend and participate.

When and Where We Meet
Archbishop Alemany Assembly 76 regularly meets at 7:00 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month at St. Gregory Church, 28th Avenue and Hacienda (Garfield) - Worner Hall, San Mateo, California.

Notices
It is anticipated that a Newsletter will be sent to all members twice a year. The monthly Meeting Reminder cards are generally sent only to Officers. Yet, we extend an open invitation to all to attend the monthly business meeting. The continued well being of our Assembly on the Peninsula is very important. Accordingly, we ask your participation and support. Your email address is requested so that the monthly reminder information can be sent by email. We should be justly proud of accomplishments especially in recent months. Included are:
Color Corps
The Fourth Degree
The Fourth Degree is open to members in the Knights of Columbus. The Fourth Degree is the highest and most prestigious degree in the Knights of Columbus.  Upon knowledge and request, honor guards will be made available to deceased Fourth Degree members. Our Assembly also has what is called the "Chalice Program" where our deceased Fourth member name is engraved on a chalice and presented to a priest as a lasting memorial.
